If you’ve made your way here, welcome—I’m Nathaniel R. Shore. I write middle-
grade mystery adventures set in the coastal town of Marshhaven, where real-world places, ethical decisions, and puzzle-driven plots reward careful readers. I live near the coast in North Carolina, and the salt marshes, barrier islands, and small beach towns continually feed my imagination. The Marshhaven Mysteries grew out of family trips along the East Coast and the small details most people walk past—the kind of mysteries that make you look twice and ask questions.

I’m excited about this series and have really loved creating it.
